There are two types of membership:
Ordinary member (qualified in endocrinology) An ordinary member is a medical practitioner, holding a postgraduate qualification in Endocrinology, who is registered by the Medical Councile of Mauritius. Ordinary members have full voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.
Associate member (qualified in other medical fields) An associate member is a medical practitioner, registered by the Medical Council of Mauritius either as a general practitioner or holding a postgraduate qualification other than Endocrinology. Associate members do not hold voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.
